As you are aware shipping to private addresses in Russia has long been a problem for both businesses and private exporters, so much so that Integrators and independent couriers alike have regularly found it necessary either to suspend delivery services to private addresses completely or, at the very least, to impose significant restrictions on what commodities may or may not be sent.
But now there’s MODE – the new, comprehensive postal delivery solution. By allowing a slightly longer transit time, private importers in Russia can benefit from the significant duty and tax free limits available on all non-commercial imports.

Terms & Conditions:
Only business-to-consumer or consumer-to-consumer consignments may be sent on this service.
Commercial (business-to-business) shipments are not permitted.
Max. length per item: 150cm. Max. item size: length + (2X height) + (2X width) < 300cm Max.
Weight per consignment: 30kg.
Shipments MUST be pre-alerted to us in advance of arrival with request for MODE service.
Standard maximum insurance liability up to £500.00 per consignment.
Duties and taxes may be payable by the consignee on shipments with a value above USD 1,000.00.
A pro-forma or commercial invoice must be supplied in the case of all non-document consignments.
All quoted rates are in GBP and exclude current FSS & VAT, which will be charged where applicable.
Returns and Un-Deliverables:
Undeliverable Consignments; A shipment is considered as undeliverable if;
- The consignee address is incomplete, illegible, incorrect or cannot be located.
- The delivery is impossible because of the unavailability or refusal of an appropriate person to accept delivery of the shipment on the initial delivery attempt or subsequent re-attempts
- Shipments will automatically be returned 25 days after the initial attempt if re-delivery cannot be completed.
- The shipment is unable to clear customs.
- The shipment is likely to cause damage or delay to other consignments or goods, or injury to persons.
- The shipment contains prohibited items.
- The consignee is unable to pay or refuses to pay for taxes and duties if the shipment has a value of more than USD 1,000.00.
- The shipment packaging is damaged to the extent that re-wrapping is not possible If a consignment is undeliverable for any reason.
Viva Xpress Logistics will endeavour to notify your company as soon as possible to arrange the return of the consignment unless the shipment has automatically returned due to delivery not being able to be completed within 25 days after the initial delivery attempt, without prejudice to any local regulatory constraints. If your company does not respond within a suitable time specified by Viva Xpress Logistics then we reserve the right to make arrangements to return or dispose of the consignment. Your company will be liable for any and all costs, charges and fees incurred in returning, storing or disposing of an undeliverable consignment, unless the consignment was undeliverable due to the fault of Viva Xpress Logistics. For returned consignment containing dangerous goods, the sender must supply a completed return Air Waybill and all the other documents.
*All non-document shipments must be accompanied by an export declaration on form CN22 (shipments up to GBP 270.00 value) or CN23 (shipments over GBP 270.00 value), these forms are available for download from our website or can be completed on your behalf for a service charge of GBP 10.00 per declaration.
** Date and time of delivery information is provided as standard (name is NOT given). Hard copy PODs including consignee signature available for a service charge of GBP 20.00 per hard copy.
